All of the flowers on MCKD cakes are organic and edible. They usually have a mild or unnoticeable flavor, so it’s up to you whether to remove them before eating.

Swiss meringue buttercream is the frosting I use for the outside of most of my cakes. It’s a silky smooth meringue-based buttercream that’s a lot lighter and less sweet than American buttercream.

Cakes are fragile and ephemeral and therefore cannot be shipped, sorry!

I recommend keeping the cake in the fridge and taking it out around 2 hours before serving. This allows the buttercream to come to room temperature and become silky smooth.
